THE VALLEY ESTATE

This story begins long before The Valley Estate was conceived. Shannon first worked with Cherie Uzan, the visionary behind such projects as AVVIA restaurant and Balboa Italian in Palm Beach. For AVVIA, Shannon created a large street art inspired mural that filled the space with colour and pattern. Next, the iconic Balboa Italian in which a large monochromatic painting depicting a street artist decorating an alleyway wall with a hand stencilled wallpaper was created the private VIP space.

From the moment The Valley Estate was conceptualised, it was apparent Cherie had plans for Shannon and his skill set. The result is a variety of beautifully polished plasters that range from textured Black Marmorino with gold leaf, to Luxurious white Marmorino with embossed hand stencilled wallpaper patterns. From paintings of realistic bulldogs smoking cigars to transforming stainless steel into antique timber, all of Shannon’s skill set was utilised. It was the faux timber beams that proudly adorn the ceiling of The Manor that demonstrate Shannon’s ability to manipulate materials to create something that is seemingly impossible.
